Acceptance to Regina is based on a student's ability to benefit from the school's philosophy and curriculum based upon: a written application, teacher recommendations, academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and conduct and effort records.
Eighth grade students coming from Catholic Schools:
- Register for and take the entrance exam
- Take advantage of our "Preview" test on September 22nd to get comfortable with the format of the test.
- Taking a test on either Nov. 3 or Nov. 17 makes you eligible for an academic scholarship as well as determining your placement
- The tests on Dec. 8 and Jan 5 are for placement only
- Complete the application for admission given to you by your eighth grade teacher and return it to your school.
- Be sure to name "Regina" as your first choice.

- All application and other necessary forms can be obtained by calling the Admissions Office - 216.382.2110 x 225 or by emailing Ms. Mathews. You can also fill out a preliminary admissions form online.
Transfer students:
- Students applying for admission to the tenth or eleventh grade follow a similar procedure as students entering the ninth grade.
- Our placement test is for eighth graders only. Transfer students do not need to take it. Your placement will be determined by your previous grades and standardized test scores
- Request an application packet from the Admissions Office
- Required information includes recommendations from current English and Math teachers, academic transcripts from the past 3 years, and standardized test scores.
* Please Note: Twelfth grade applicants are generally not accepted unless there are extenuating circumstances such as relocation or finances.
