 This coming weekend, March 12 and 13, is the final weekend to catch the Regina High Drama Department performance of Beauty and the Beast . Performance times are 7:30 p.m. each day. Ticket price is $8.00.
The story is based on the classic French fairy tale about a young, beautiful girl, Belle, who falls in love with a once-handsome prince who was turned into a hideous beast.
Returning as director of this year’s production is Regina alum Lisa Moore ’05. “I love returning to this familiar stage, seeing different faces, but the same enthusiasm and spirit that embodies Regina,” she said. “I feel right at home with this energetic group and hope the students are challenging themselves and broadening their perspective, while having fun and creating some amazing memories."
