Harvest for Hunger 2010 is the most important campaign to date, as the downturn in the economy, rising unemployment, and higher food and heating bills are forcing more people to turn to local hot meal programs, food pantries and shelters for assistance.
We must provide more food this year, and we DID!
The Regina High community has always responded generously to this appeal.
This year we collected 7,565 pounds of food and $875! This will provide more than 9,000 meals to people in northeast Ohio.
A special thank you to our Harvest for Hunger drive chairs, seniors Saysha McArthur and Natalie Duleba.
Harvest for Hunger—one of the largest annual, community-wide food and funds drives in the nation—provides critical resources to local hunger relief organizations in nineteen counties in Northeast and North Central Ohio. This is the 15th year Regina has participated in the campaign.
