Established awards and scholarships

Harriet B. Prochaska Award for Service
Established by the Prochaska family in honor of Harriet Prochaska’s birthday. This annual award goes to a student who demonstrates need and displays commitment to service.

 

Mary Clare Flanagan Zavarella ’61 Science Scholarship
A family scholarship in memory of Mary Claire Flanagan Zavarella, a 1961 graduate who died in 1989. This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore or junior who excels in science and plans a career in science.

 

Meg Webster Memorial Scholarship
Established by Martha Webster ’67 in memory of her niece, Meg Webster. This endowed scholarship will be given to a deserving student who participates in extra-curricular activities.

 

Mary Jane Christie Scanlon ’65 Memorial Scholarship
Established by Janet Buzzelli Carey ’65 and the Christie and Scanlon families in memory of Mary Jane Christie Scanlon ’65. This endowed scholarship will be awarded to a member of the junior class.

 

Class of 1957 Scholarship
Established in 2007 as a class gift in honor of their 50th Anniversary.

 

Class of 1967 Scholarship
Established in 2007 as a class gift in honor of their 40th Anniversary.

 

Joan Ward Bush ’72  Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2007 by the family, friends and members of Class of 1972 in memory of Joan Ward Bush ’72  who died in 2006. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who may be interested in a teacher career.
