This unique Regina program seeks to develop the talents of young women who give evidence of leadership, initiative, creativity, critical thinking and originality.
It begins in the sophomore year with a Creativity in the Arts class which stimulates creative problem solving, divergent thinking and oral, written and artistic expression.
Juniors participate in a career Shadowing program with area professionals. They spend at least 40 hours in contact with the sponsor and project work.
Seniors are involved in a more extensive Mentorship program and gain firsthand experience in an area of career interest. Each develops an independent study proposal and presents a culminating project.
Recent shadowing and mentoring experiences have included genetic research, law, accounting, pediatrics, computer engineering, anthropology, forensic science, biomedical engineering, education, banking, veterinary medicine, sports medicine and business management.
