Mentoring

Mentorship

Mentorship is an educational process in which seniors are teamed, usually one-on-one, with an adult who has a talent, the knowledge, or an expertise to share in his or her given profession. The student who elects Mentorship will develop an independent study proposal and project in consultation with and under the direction of her Mentor. She will produce an end-project as the culminating activity of the hours spent in the Mentorship Program and will share the final project in an oral presentation at the end of the academic year. The student will receive academic credit dependent on the number of clock hours devoted to the total project.
