Senior Portfolio and Project REAL

Portfolio

In order to assist seniors in their college application process and as a means of enabling students to reflect on their school learning experiences, each senior is required to assemble a Senior Portfolio. The Portfolio includes an overview of experiences that have shaped the student’s four years of high school. Each senior presents her Portfolio to faculty and peers at a special assembly at the end of the academic year.

Project REAL

Project REAL is a required program for all seniors who do not elect the Mentorship Program. It is a project designed for seniors to explore various career fields by volunteering their services for a 40-hour period in a chosen profession. The project is expedited in cooperation with a school advisor and a career sponsor from an outside company, school, or agency.
