Music
The following music groups involve students with a love for performing vocal or instrumental mujsic and entertaining:
Chorale gives advanced singers an opportunity to perform more challenging music. Membership in this group is by audition. Chorale rehearses weekly and performs at various school and community events throughout the year.
Gospel Choir shares students' talents and joy of gospel music with the student body and the community.
Showcase Choir members combine singing and choreography in performances through the year. Weekly rehearsals prepare this group for performance.
Orchestra/Band gives students who play instruments a venue for sharing their talents.This group rehearses weekly. Instrumentalists may also take Orchestra/Band for credit within the curriculum.
Dance
African Dance enriches a student’s knowledge of the African-American heritage through dance.
