PARTICULARS for Service Program

All service is to be done with an agency or church institution; helping family members or neighbors does not fulfill the Regina Service requirement
All service for the year is to be completed by April 30.
The service program requires students to be of service on their own time, not during the school day.
Students are encouraged to plan their own service experiences. Theology teachers can be consulted at any time for assistance.
Service activities required by a school club or class are part of the school activity program, rather than the service hour program.
Regina does, however, offer SCHOOL-SPONSORED SERVICE events. Any student may participate in these opportunities as part of her requirement.
Listings of Service needs and Service Program bulletins will be published periodically to give students suggestions.
Service for a particular grade level CAN be done during the summer months prior to entering that grade. (e.g. a junior can complete her junior service the summer before her junior year.)
Seniors will not be allowed to graduate until their 4-year Service requirement has been completed.
Any questions concerning the Service Program at Regina can be directed to the individual theology teacher.

At least six hours of the twelve hour requirement are to be completed at the respective grade level's area of focus.
